If you have an interest in local dining, we keep menus from most of the nearby restaurants at the registration desk downstairs. Please ask for them and for directions.
Barklin House is home to our cat, DB. If you do not enjoy the company of cats, please tell us and we will make every effort to keep her out of your rooms.
The common areas provided for our guests include
the front porch with its rockers and swing. We also provide a spacious back-yard deck, chaise and lawn chairs for your leisure hours. The rear garden has been certified by the National Wildlife Federation as a Backyard Habitat and is graced with old-fashioned perennials and shrubs.
