Our B & B Cat

Our "Dumpster Baby" is always called DB, and we are sure she would be embarrassed to know that our guests are aware of her inauspicious beginnings.  She has designated herself the Official Greeter and Amusement Commissioner at Barklin House.  She is a frisky fourteen-year-old who delights in entertaining guests who enjoy cats.

In Memoriam

November 15, 2002

Winston Blackwell was an elderly gentleman of over 21+ people years, and much more than that in cat years.  He was a devoted nap-cat and spent most of his time on our sun-porch sofa.  He was a Bluepoint Siamese, although it is hard to tell here, since he had his lovely blue face covered up!

If you are cat-people, you will understand the effect that his "grand-cat, Rocky" had on Franklin.
